Framingham State University Dean of Graduate Studies Dr. Yaser Najjar was on hand to celebrate the graduation of 16 international students who earned their Master of Arts (MA) degrees in Educational Leadership at the University’s site in Queretaro, Mexico.

Dr. Najjar gave the commencement address and conferred the official degrees during his visit, which occurred in June.

"Many people aren’t aware that Framingham State has several wonderful academic sites across the globe," says Dean Najjar. "It's always a pleasure when I get to visit these sites and celebrate with our graduates."

The courses for the Educational Leadership program in Mexico were offered in a hybrid format with the on-site part of the course taking place at the John F. Kennedy American School of Queretaro, Mexico, over a 2 ½ year period.  The General Director of the JFK American School of Queretaro, Mr. Adrian Leece, is himself a graduate of the MA Degree in Educational Leadership from Framingham State University in 2004.  Ms. Camille Casses was selected from the graduates to give an address on behalf of the students.

All of the University's international sites are overseen by the C. Louis Cedrone International Education Center.
